Sketchup is a lighter, more user friendly form of CAD (Computer Aided Design).  Sketchup can be used from within Google Chrome, with your work saved onto Trimble Sketchups Cloud service.

Programs such as this can be used to design 2D or 3D elements such as parts or structures.

 

 

Autodesk CAD (Computer Aided Design) is available for Students and Educators.

This is for Architects, Engineers and Construction students and professionals.  It can be used to design anything from small parts to skyscrapers.

Note:  Requires a Personal Computer or Laptop, with the Windows Operating System or MAC OS.
